spool job

hi,

may i know what is the cause no spool job created. has it got to do with configuration?

in cor1, after click save button spool job should be created but i tested in different system, 1 system can generate whereas another no spool job generated.

hi,

Please check wether u are authorized for running back ground job, find via SU53 after saving,

Check wether the data exist for the variant which you are trying to execute.

Hi Eliana,

It has more to do with the data.

if there is no data for your selection then spool job will not generate.

hi,

it has data. when it not able to create automatically i need to go to cor2 to generate the spool job.

it should be able to create the spool job in cor1.

any way i can know why it cannot auto generate?

Hi

There are so many cases. First Check whether your Program contains any SUBMIT statement. If you are printing data inside a SUBMIT statement and you are running your main program you will not get a spool list.

Second is if you are uploading or Downloading Data using GUI_UPLOAD and GUI_DOWNLOAD this will not work for background.

Third is if your printer setting is not correct it will show no data in spool list. Check with your Basis consultant and make sure that your printer settings are correct. If all settings are very correct and if you have some data in output table definitly it will be available in your Spool. Direct Transacton for Spool is SP01.
