Hi,

wht is spool administration? Y do we go for that while we can create page formats in se71 itself?

Hi,

SE71 is used for creation and maintenance of layout sets.. but you use the sppol properties when calling a sap script form in your program..

But there are lot of specific printer settings need to be done.. Check the transaction SPAD..

See the options and facilities available there.. u will get answer..

Spool administration is trx. SPAD.

It has lots of features:

1. Printers/Output devices

2. Spool Servers

3. Device Type/print control/Page Format etc

4. Delete old spools etc

Unlike the Output Controller (transaction SP01), in which both users and administrators can work, Spool Administration (transaction SPAD or Tools-> CCMS->Spool->Spool Administration) is intended for administrators.
