SOST error message too long

Dear Sirs,

our SRM system sends mail notifications with PDF attachments.

In some cases the delivery of the message fails with error

"No delivery beacause message too long, maximum lenght 20.000.000 bytes"

Is this value a fixed treshold or is it possible to configure a parameter ?

Possibly the size of the attachment allowed is exceeded.

Try consulting with you basis person if there is some setting for the same.

this is option from system customisation in sm30: v_sxserv (field max_msglen)
