HI Experts,

kindly guide me about SMOD functionality. Why it is used? what are the ways of finding User-exits, as writing a particular code in user-exits is ok but hw to reach that particular exit.

Hi,

SMOD is the transaction where you can see the enhancements available in the system..

Go to SMOD..

Press F4 ..

Press the information system button.

In the popup give the development class of the program..

Then press enter..You will see the enhancements for the corresponding program..

To get the development class of the transaction..

Execute the transaction..In the system -> status..Go to the main program..Then in the attributes you can get the development class..

set the breakpoints in z** function modules and activate those exits in CMOD and run the transaction.
