Hi Guys,

how can i include logo as a background object in my form, say in the main window????? Please give me the steps.

To insert the company logo (or any image):

Step 1. Open the Form Painter for graphics (Figure 6). Select the Form Painter button. Click the LOGO window in Form Painter. Right-click and choose Create>Graphics.

Step 2. Insert the logo or image. In the maintenance screen of the node (the center of the frame) under the General attributes tab, enter the company logo or other image as Graphic Image, Graphics as Object type, and bmap as ID. Thanks for your quick responce. I did accordingly but could not achieve what i wanted to do. Actually i want the logo to come as a background image. i want it to appear behind the data. I hope you are getting me. please help me out.

u can adjust the dimensions of background picture to the size of main window.

it wil definetly work out.

No Sujata. thats not my problem. My problem is i have a black and white graphics. The graphic portion displayed on the main window tends to hide the data in that portion due to its colour black(as the data is also black in colour). I hope you got me now.

Hi,

When you create a new page in smartform,

there u can have 'General Attrubutes', 'Output Options' and 'Backgroud Picture' options for that page,

Select backGround picture tab there u can have picture u want to have.

SE78 will help u to mport images from presentation server to document server.

Hey hai..

I think that you can better try for the logo that you want to use in the other windows ...I mean other than main window ..because main window is only for diplaying the data... For that create a window .. say secondary window and then right click on it and then go to graphics option ...from there you can specify the name of the pic (logo) you want to use....

Hi,

in the page node select tab back ground picture,

give the name of the graphic u want to diaplay ,also u can give the resolution

and positions in the specified fields.

select output mode to printpreview and check how it is appearing.

this is not working either. Actually i have a BMON image. when i'm displaying the image as a background object the data gets hidden behind that. Can't i change the colour of that logo to some lighter shade or do something to get the data prominent. Please do help.

Follow this, may be helpful to u,

Page --> Background Picture tab u have to select graphics and

mainly u should have to fill out the output attributes

Resolution : <100>

output mode : printpreview / print preview and print.

Definately it will work.
