It depends what you want to put a box around.
Look at the Output Options tab of your node.

In output options in the smartform Choose the option Box. According to the requirement you can choose margin and the shading.

HI,
Where ever you want the box, you might have the node there, i mean in the Node(Either table or condition nodes), you will have a TAB <b>Output options</b>, there you have an option called BOX, there you can Draw the box as well as the shading of the box.

Hi chang,
In the output options you can choose box and shading and in the table if you want a box you can use patterns or borders which is provided in the table for a particular node or all the nodes.In template the same options are there in template.
