smartforms with error.

Hello!... I copied an invoice from Italy to use it in Australia.

I modified this and tested always with the same invoice number, once finished I try to test with another invoice and I cant print it cause errr AM 177 (Form of address key is not defined)

Items checked:

-The smartforms has EN language

- is been printed by VF02

- the application is the same in Italy than in australia

- if I print an Italian Invoice, it works..

Someone knows what could it be?

Hi Jorgelina,

Yes, You can do this with your own Zprogram and own Zscript

Just give the name of the form in OPEN_FORM fun module of the Z program

see the format of the program and do accordingly

The print program is used to print forms. The program retieves the necesary data from datbase tables, defines the order of in which text elements are printed, chooses a form for printing and selects an output device and print options.

Function modules in a printprogram:

• When you print a form you must used the staments OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM. To combine forms into a single spool request use START_FORM and END_FORM.

• To print textelements in a form use WRITE_FORM. The order in which the textelements are printed, is determined by the order of the WRITE_FORM statements. Note: for printing lines in the body, you can also use the WRITE_FORM_LINES function module.

• To transfer control command to a form use CONTROL_FORM.

Structure of a print program

• Read data

• Open form printing - Must be called before working with any of the other form function modules.

• Must be ended with function module CLOSE FORM

Hi Hema, thanks but I can't find my solution here...

I set the samrtform in transaction v/40 and the print program is RLB_INVOICE (standard)..

For what I know, I don't need to modify this program at all..

What do you think?

Hi Jorgelina, then in that case, ur invoice should get printed. I too have to clarify from others before finalize it for u.
