smartforms printing

Dear all,

I have designed a zform using smartforms, i am able to see the print preview , but when i print it i get something else like

/dollar

/ampersand

/percent

and all nonsense printed, what might be the problem.

Hi,

I noticed one more thing here, i am able to take normal printouts if scripts are used and that this problem only occurs for printouts when smartforms are used to design them.

Hi,

Check with ur printer settings.it may happen sometimes due to that also.Also CHECK THE 'OUTPUT OPTIONS' TAB OF WINDOW.

Hi Abhinay,

This is the problem which is related to the configuration of the printer. You need to talk to the BASIS people reagarding this issue. They are responsible to handle this type of issue. They will only change the configuration and your smartforms will automatically work properly.

i noticed that i had not assigned the new page format which i created and so have assigned it to my device type , but now i need to change the printer initialisation commands in my new format, how do i chnage this.

I am using cn400ps device type and my new page format is ( 300 * 300 ) mm.
