Hi all,

i want to add a graphics in my smarforms, i know to do that but when i print the document (and preview also) my graphics is damaged, outlines are not clean, the picture is to much compressed.

So what is the best way to have a clean picture on my smartforms ? What DPI must i take ?

Cheers

Hi,

Check the size of your graphics window . Try to upload the graphic again from se78. This may solve.

Swapna.

Hi,

Try a lower resolution file when uploading it, before that keep the graphics ready in bmp or tiff format. Its better to have a smaller image size (around 20-40 KB).

While assigning to smartform change the DPI to suit your needs.

Thanks for your answer,

but i don't understand, i get a picture on the Net, with size 264 x 125 pixels, with 19206 colors used, when i open it with Photoshop the picture is nice. I import it with transaction SE78, and put it in my smartforms, the result is bad, i lost colors, i tried to put 300 dpi but the result is the same. So there is a colors limitations ? 256 colors max ? or i can use 32K colors ? if it's possible why my picture don't display correctly ?

Cheers

Hi,

I believe SAP don't support more than 256 colors so better save your file from Ms-paint as Bitmap - 256 colors.
