Hi
I have a requirement where I need to print the content in the following format:
This is line 1.(normal)
This is line 2.
This is line 3.( 'line 3' in helvetica font and color red).
I am using include text to include the standard text containing the content into the smartform.I have maintained the required styles in smartstyles. Is it possible to apply character formats in include text?
I tried breaking the content into two standard texts where the character formats needs to be applied. But when I am using append directly , the content is taking the format of the text node content preceding it.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
U have to chance:
- Create a standard text using the same paragraph and charatcters of the smartforms;
- Indicate which style has to control the text.

Hi
Trx SE72
When you create the std text go to:
Format->Changer style: here choose your style.
But perhaps it's easier to indicate the correct style for the text in smartform (tab output option).

Susan,
Though your's is a smartform, you can use the text module for formatting the texts easily with character & paragraph formats within the texts.

HI Susan,
Yes! It is possible to apply character formats.
In the SO10 transaction after u have selected the standard text it shows u the screen where u can see the text in a editor.
there is a box where u see the paragraph formats available (next to the reset Character formatting button). Choose the drop down menu and choose "More".
On the right side of ur screen u would see the Styles and Formating Bar.
There are all the Paragraph options displayed.
Choose the Paragraph Format you want to edit and in the drop down menu choose "Modify".
u can choose the different Font Styles or Formatting Styles
