smartform pdf convertion

Hi i would like to know how can i set the name of my pdf file im using the CONVERT_OTF function but it names my file whith

the bin_file = l_pdf_xstring parameter i want thant my pdfile

takes another name. thanks

As per my understanding, you would like to convert the Smart Form Output to PDF and download to presentation server. If so proceed as below: 1. Collect OTF Data. 2. Send OTF Data to Function Module: CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF. Here you will get the Converted PDF data in tables parameter LINES. 3. Download this LINES internal table using FM: GUI_DOWNLOAD. For this function module, you can specify your own filename.

thaks but i dont want to download this pdf i only need to visualize in a browser , and i do it yet but i want to change the name of the pdf when the user press the save button thanks

when u will create a spool request .

run RSTXPDFT4 program and using Spool number , file name ,file path u can convert it to PDF file.
