smart style

Hi all,

i have copied existing smartform into new smartform and modified

ouptut format than transported to production.

do i need to transport style with the smartfom ?

already that style is active in the production.

No need to transport SmartStyle as you haven't copied or changed.

thanks for the reply...

yes.. i dint change smart style..

but out put in the dev server and production server is diferent.

what could be the reason..

font is same but it is compressed in the production and few values were not displayed..

hi again.

Well, several things can cause that difference.

The first, and more obvious could be the smartstyle, indeed. Please compare the versions. Check the font and paragraph types used in your smartform. If it's complicated, just create a transport with the smartstyle (changing description of a font, for example). This for being sure of the version of the styles.

Now, another possibility is the printer. Different printer interpret fonts and paragraphs in different ways. Are you using local printer? Or system printer? If it's system printer, check it's definition in tcode SPAD in both systems.
