short dump while end date is changed in tcode PA30

Hi all,

i am new to HR ABAP. I need your help.

My requirement is that I want to change end date of employee in Tcode PA30. But when i change the end date of an employee

and click on save button it gives short dump.

points will not be awarded.

What do you mean "end date" ? The date an employee leaves the company ? If so you will need to go to PA30 and then utilities --> Change hire/fire date. This way you shouldn't have any problems.

but why it is giving short dump while updating enddate of an employee in tcode pa30 , there is option to change enddate of an employee in tcode. i am using infotype 0167 .

sorry , at this moment i don't have access of SAP. so i can't able to provide the details of short dump.

Most probably thats because of an error in the User Exit or BADI, you will need to debug after looking at short dump.
