Short Dump CNTL_ERROR

Dear Experts,

I have an inbound custom Idoc, which triggers a custom fn. module.

For some reason when we receive the Idoc from middle ware system the fn. module is being executed successfully till sometime and is dumping when it encountered a BDC.

But when the same Idoc is processed thru we19 in background the BDC is being executed successfully

The Dump says: Exception condition "CNTL_ERROR" raised.

Some transactions do not work well in the background.

What transaction are you running?

Have you looked for notes regarding your transaction in the background?
