Shipment IDOC

Hi All,

I want to create Advanced shipment notification for every ship-to party in the shipment. <b>I want to do it thorugh an IDOC and not a smart form</b>.

I am actually passing the shipment number and partner number(ship-to party) to the program which is creating IDOC. But invariably all the deliveries are included in the IDOC. I want to limit those deliveries by ship-to party.

Hello,

To my mind, you should better use a DESADV IDoc within each delivery instead of SHPMNT which is a message for the whole transportation document including all deliveries.

With DESADV, you will have one message per delivery. The DESADV contains almost the same functional informations than SHPMNT.
