Setting up System Message

Hi,

How do we set up system Message?

If user logs in, then a popup should be displayed saying "SAP system will be taken off at 5:00pm(CST)".

I want this message to be displayed eveytime the user logs in. This appears only one time for a user.

IS there any setting which will enable that?

try setting the expiry date of the message to 12/31/9999

I was thinking the same. Every time the user logs in , the system message should pop, regardless if he has seen it before.

I see what you mean now. I have just tested it in my system. It does not pop when the user logs in.

Hi Rich,

I just noticed that in 5.0 it pops up only once but in 4.5b it pops up everytime the user logs in. Anyways, your answer helped me to solve it. Please let me know if you come across something else.

We're looking for something similar. We want to display message everytime the user logs on tothe system. This doesn't happen in 4.7 Enterprise release of SAP either, the users get the message once and that's it. We've changed the expire and delete date as 12/31/9999, is there anything else that we could do?
