Hi,

I have one query regarding BDC.

Suppose I have some error message. Now I wanted to create the BDC session for entries that have errors.

Could you please suggest me how to do it??

If any sample coding is there pls send me.

Hi..,

Call transaction method returns sy-subrc as not equal to zero for erroneous transactions..

so, do this...

Hi Friends,

I have one qurey regarding session method.

Suppose I am dealing with session method for error records,

I had already populated my ITAB.

now my code is like

data: ITAB like BDCDATA occurs 0 with header line,

ERROR_DATA like BDCMSGCOLL occurs 0 with header line.

call transaction 'ZXY' using ITAB messages into ERROR_DATA.

if not error_data[] is initial.

*use fm BDC_OPEN_DATA

CALL FUNCTION 'BDC_INSERT'

EXPORTING

TCODE = 'ZXY'

TABLES

DYNPROTAB = ITAB

*Use BDC_CLOSE_DATA

Remember that I had already populated the ITAB. Then my question is what is the use of BDC_INSERT function

module in session method?? If I had already populated the ITAB.

BDC_INSERT here will be helpful in trapping the records which were not processed via Call transaction method ...
