Send Tcode as a Link in mail

Hi,

My requirement is to send a Transaction code as a link in an e-mail to SAP Inbox.

We don't want to send it as a Work item. But send as an e-mail using FM ' SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'

I have tried to Create a shortcut and send the shortcut as an attachment , but that is not the expectation .

Please advice.

SAP Workflow Items are the standard way to deliver the functionality you require.

What do you want to reinvent the wheel with this approach?

Work items were not a feasible solution for this requirement.

However, have been able to achieve the same using the below format as the message.

'<A HREF="sap-object://CUST_TRAN ZTCODE"> Free Text </A>'.

Hi Aditya,

While sending the message using FM 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' ,

in the  contents_txt ( Tables) pass the string

'<A HREF="sap-object://CUST_TRAN ZTCODE"> Free Text </A>'

where 'ZTCODE' is the desired Tcode to be called.

'Free Text' is the Text for the Link.

SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 is obsolete. Use the CL_BCS classes instead.
