Self destructive popup message

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to show popup message and that popup message has to disappear after sometime.Kindly anyone advise how to achieve this?

  Can you mention some more details whether it belongs to normal ABAP( if it is normal Abap,then through which it should be displayed either through messages or module pool programming ) or Webdynpro Abap..

Hi Anu,

I am not sure in SAP provided such kind of FM related to message. This a HTML, JAVA script related functionality what you are looking in ABAP side.

You can try a work around solution in ABAP through CL_GUI_TIMER class.

1.     create a customer pop-up screen

2.     Display message  (code will be in PBO)

3.     Initialize Timer Class in PBO and set the timer interval as per you requirement

4.     In timer event trigger PAI event. use CL_GUI_CFW=>SET_NEW_OK_CODE

5.    Close the open pop-up window (leave screen).

The provide solution is in normal ABAP only, not you have to try some class to get the process as per your requirement.

As per your requirement there is not direct FM in SAP you have to user Timer class to close the pop-up window.
