Hi All,
After creating Secondary Index, how can we use the same in SQL Statement and also how can we check or trace its working or not . Can any one explain me .

Hi!
SAP will handle the indexes automatically, you don't have to code anything special for this in your select statemenets.
If the performance of the selection is better, it works, if not, it doesn't.

write your where clause statements in the same order that the index fields appear, then utilize trace (ST05) and "describe" the OPEN table statement....drill down...you'll see the index that the database optimizer chose to use.

Open SQL will select the index from the selection and sort criteria. (Look via ST05 and such tools)
Nevertheless you can force the choice of index via a %_HINTS clause in the SQL SELECT statement. Look at OSS [Note 129385 - Database hints in Open SQL|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/129385] and then at the note relative to your DB.
