hi guys,

I want to copy a search help DEBIA into ZDEBIA and add four fields in this as well as in the view present in it.

This ZDEBIA i will add in the collective search help DEBI.

1. Then i want to hide this DEBIA standar search help, how can this be done.

2. What the function of PARAM ASSIGNMENT push button in collective search help. what it does.

go to collective search helps included search help tab there you can hide any elementary search help by ticking hidden check box.

and your collective search help contains the parameters means when you press f4 some pop up will come with some columns. here for each elementary search help you can define your own parameters as per your requirement from collective search help.

Hi,

The parameter assignment is for the parameters that you export from your main search help on to the screen fields. If you use some other included search help to get the values those values needs to be passed onto your screen fields. For this you need to map your included search help export parameters to that of your main search help export parameters. The button PARM ASSIGNMENT serves this purpose.

You can hide the included search help by selecting hide checkbox.
