Hello friends,

i copied Search help in se11 VMBOD to VMBOG.

i have added a field

Search help parameter ABREX and

data element ABREX and

have flagges the import and export.

I saved it as a SAP standard package.

but when i check for errors it gives me an error,

Check search help VMBOG (LBUASZA/10/25/06/13:33)

Search help parameter ABREX does not occur in the selection method

Search help VMBOG is inconsistent

Any suggestions,

Hi Shejal,

According to you the import and export check boxes for that field has been checked.

You remove that flags and just give the lPos and sPos for that field.

The search help VMBOD as the selection method(View) M_VMBOD, in which there is no parameter ABREX. So what u can do is copy the View M_VMBOD to some Z view and add the ABREX field in that view flds tab and use this view in the search help VMBOG.

So u mean to say in SE11 I copy M_VMBOD to ZM_VMBOD.

in ZM_VMBOD when i enter ABREX in the view flds tab it is giving me a warning .

Enter the base field in full

any suggestions.

No problem activate it and use the same in search help.

In the view tab i added,

view field - ABREX

table - Kona,

Field - ABREX.

Just saved it.

I hope this should be fine.

Yes it's fine. Now add this view to the search help VMBOG and add the ABREX in the search help parameter.

If the problem is solved mark the thread as solved and close the thread.
