Hi experts:

When I open graphical painter, I counter a problem message 'password in router string.cannot start graphical screen painter' of gnetx.exe, Who can solve it,TKS.

Check the latest path for GUI and update by discussing with Basis team.

Hi,

This can be resolved by running setup.exe (SAPGui) again and choose "Add or remove SAP Front end components in the component selection wizard" and then choose "Development Tools" in the next screen. This includes Graphical Screen Painter, SAP Forms and UNICODE RFC Libraries.

You can just try it by restarting.

Most of the times it works by just restarting your SAP or sometimes your PC.

But if it still does not work out, you need to reinstall your GUI. You can ask your Admin people to help you reinstall the SAP GUI

I choose all the component when I install the GUI, including 'development tools',I think errors may be password in router string.

Dear Allen,

Please have a look at Below Note

SAP Note 898102 - Error message "Password in router string."

Solution in Note is given as below.

SAPGUI Release 620: Import GUI patch 59.

SAPGUI Release 640: Import GUI patch 16.

SAPGUI Release 710: Import GUI patch 03.

Hope This Solve your Issue.
