Script Recording - Export as Spreadsheet

Hi all, I'm using the script recording function to link up Excel and SAP for reporting purposes. After I run a t-code, I'd like to export it as a spreadsheet, particularly the 'CTRL+SHIFT+F7' format that is much cleaner and requires no clean-up work compared to the other method to export it, hereby dubbed the local file export, or 'CTRL+SHIFT+F9' format.

However, the only way I've been able to do this is via the Local File export. If I try to export it as a spreadsheet with the F7 method, the script recorder abruptly stops once the 'save as' prompt appears.

I'd like to automate this as much as possible and have the F7 method save as a certain file name and override any existing files with no prompts, and have all of the script recorded and ready to transfer into excel - is this method possible?

Not sure what you meant exactly by 'script recording' and 'Ctrl-Shift-F7'. It's also not clear what transaction this is about and, consequently, how exactly the data is displayed. Please be more specific and use standard SAP terminology to avoid confusion (refer to this blog).

Can only guess this has something to do with 'Excel in-place'. If so then there is an interesting document that might be of some help.
