Then if u declare as:
IM ,,Qty,,Unit,,Deliv. date,,&ETUHRTXT& AND
U are specify only one tab(,,) between all the Fields..
Then - Qty, Unit, Deliv. date & value &ETUHRTXT& all starts at first tab position .. which means the text is being overwitten every time from 2nd character..
Is this correct ??

Hi Srikar,
Yes if you give all in the first tab i.e (,,) for all fields it will overwrite.
so that the tab delimeter to be given to align in correct positions.

no.
two commas (,,) means one tab. if within the same paragraph format another ,, appears this means the second tab then.

Hi Srikar again,
If you are putting one tab position after every field, in this case count tab position from the starting i.e. from first variable and go on countin till end . This will take you adding position one after other and it will not overlap.
e.g. Mat,,qty,,price
and tab position as 1 : 5 2: 10 3: 15 4:20
then mat will start at 1 to 5 and qty will from 10 onward.

now lets take an example:
A Paragraph format with Tabs at- 1,5,10,15,20,25,30 CH
,,Qty,,,,Material,,Description,,,,Menge,,Amount
1---10
[character position at the Mentioned tab]
Hope this is the way.....
Any corrections......

Hi,
A double comma ,, means a tab position so if you are putting ,,,, it will take you to 2nd tab position, any set of ,, after that will take you further tab positions.

Dear Srikar,
Tab position indicates position to be fixed on the print.
In your case the Qty field appears after three tab position. i.e. ,,,,,,Qty
This indicate that Qty field will start at end end of third tab.
Hope this will help you solve your problem. Feel free to ask if you have any doubt.

Vijay
