script copy

Hello friends,

I have copied a standard SAP script layout and have to do some modifications to it.

I need to add some windows to it.

IN se71 when I click change, it displays a message at the bottom,

Form ZPM_WO1 has original language DE

When I go to windows tab and try to add windows it doesn’t let me. Everything is grayed out.

What’s the reason and suggestions please?

hi,

while copying script as Z script you have to uncheck the check box ' original language only ' check box. so that the script wil copy to all possible languages. while opening in chagne mode enater language EN then it allow you to change the script.

In menu- utilities change original langueage is grayed out.

I have done the same way and it poped up copied to many languages. I am opening the script in Language EN. I can change the script as well i mean in the existing windows but having problems whils creating new windows.

Hi Ster,

You have to go in change mode and then use menu path Utilities->Conv Orig Language.

Let me explain in detail.

the original script is available only in client 00.

In client 20 in se71 i copied from client 00 to a zscript with the original language check box as unchecked.

I cn do modifications to the exisiting window in client 20 but when i am trying to add new windows it dosent.

Hope my problem is clear. I have tried everything suggested above but i am still unable to.

Hi,

You can the sapscript window sizes only in the original language..

In your case..The original language is DE..

IF you want to change the original language..

Go to SE71..

Give the sapscirpt form..Press change..

In the menu..UTILITIES -> CONVERT ORIG LANG.

hi,

U can do it in two ways,

Either u can uncheck the original language option while copying or u can

again copy it and change the source language as EN in object directory entry or the utilities tab.

U can also do this in SE63. Just try it out.

in SE71 specify ur form name in language give EN & open the form it will allow u to change the form.
