Screen painter

Hi Experts,

Can any one solve my problem.

In screen painter SE51. If I Open Layout editor. It is showing new Screen editor (Just like lines.. as like script text editor).

I want old editor as it is showing tools like Text, Push Button, Check Button, Input & Out put fields.

Can any one say the settings regarding this.

it is the problem with the GUI, so try to close the SAP and relogin and check. if the problem still there then Restart the system and try again. now also no success then Uninstall the SAP gui and Reinstall the Latest SAP Gui.

In some cases the problem it isn't the sapgui also the sap server.

In this case you have to work with text editor and manually creates the dynpros and test the gui

click on settings inside the module pool program of that

and click on screen painter tab

and check the graphical layout editor

hope it will work for sure

Hi Monarch,

There is no problem with your GUI or SAP Server, its all because of settings.

To switch back to Graphical Editor, do the following.

1) Go to SE51.

2) Select Menu Utilities -> Settings

3) Choose Screen Painter Tab

4) Check the Graphical Layout editor Checkbox

5) Save and close the Settings.

Now you will see the Graphical editor the next time you press the Layout button.

First Go to se38 then unlities then settings then choose front end editor(new)/old/back end editor.

I create a loging screen & its working fine .But when i add new check box button its not working.

first i create a check box field in screen painter .Then in "fct-coad" i put check.But i dont know how to declar chechbox in report. can any one help me please.
