Screen Painter, Table View control - F4 help/ Drop Down values

I have a table view control in my screen. In that table view, I have 4-5 fields in a row.

In general terms my question is: In tableview control for a particular row if one value is selected in First column then in second column the F4 values or dropdown values should come accordingly.

F4 values can differ based upon entry in forst column for different rows of that table view control.

More specifc form of my question is:

One Column is Infotype and other is Fields. For a particular row if specific infotype is chosen then it should populate dropdown values of fields pertaining to that infotype .

Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi,

You need to implement a module in PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST

in that module, you need to use GET CURSOR FIELD FVAL LINE LIN_NUM

Here you also need to use the FM DYNPR_VALUES_READ which will give you the Value entered in the FIrst column before you trigger PAI (Press Enter etc). Now you can read that line of the Internal Table and proceed further to get the Required F4.

Hi Ram,

I tried this scenario, The problem as of now I am facing is that When I select value in first field, then it should change the Dropdown values in second field, But it does not go in to process on value request at that point of time.

Please suggest
