Friends,
Pls let me know the way to change the screen painter layout(se51) from the normal text mode to graphical gui mode.

Hi,
i think you need to install GUI patches , then only you can see GUI editior. or try to use SE80 and create the screens and check....
if this is also fails then you need to install GUI patches.

Click Settings Menu -> Graphical Full Screen in that check Graphical screen Painter. It will work.

click menu UTILITIES->SETTINGS->SCREEN PAINTER (TAB)
CHECK THE CHECK BOX <b>GRAPHICAL LAYOUT EDITOR</b>.

In Menu items
Utilities->Settings->screen painter tab->Check the Graphical editor check box.

Hi Rajeev,
You seem to have a problem with the GUI. So, the graphical mode works fine (for sure) with SAP GUI for Windows v. 6.40 patch level 15. I tested it with patch level 8 and the graphical mode does not seem to work as I want it. So, I would suggest to get patch level 10 or higher.

You can download the SAP GUI for Windows versions on SAP Software Distribution Center from http://service.sap.com/installations and latest patches can be downloaded from http://service.sap.com/patches.
