hi,

just want to ask whats wrong with our SAP setup or what is lacking in our setup because when i click the LAYOUT the screen properties does not display that is why im not able to design a screen.

Dear Donna,

Clicking the button is supposed to start a graphical program. This can take a while. (in transaction SE51).

Seems that your SAP Gui must be badly installed, maybe you should reinstall it.

Look out for Graphical Screen Painter in your configuration also

Hi,

In SE51 . Click on menu Utility - > Setting.

See that the graphical screen painter in checked.

Even after this you donot get to see screen painter ( graphical) then your GUI installation may be faulty.

You can still work in non graphical mode but its difficult.

May be problem with SAP GUI installation, reinstall SAP GUI.

Hi,

I remember that I had a simular problem before 2-3 years and we solved reinstalling the SAP Gui.
