Screen assignment while creating variant

Hi All ,

While creating variant for a std transaction VT04 it is showing error as "invalid selection" . The error is coming at the screen assignment window in the screen . In that window it is showing MANY selection screens with check boxes ( defaultly not checked ) . I checked the same t code variant creation in other system and i 'm able to create variant . when trying to create variant in other systems it is showing only ONE selection screen ( 1000 ) and it is defaultly checked , and able to save this variant .

Please help me in this

Hi,

While saving the variant sometime the Check box in Scrn Assignment block will be blank in the top right side of the Variant Window. Check the box error will be solved.

You need to have at least 1 screen assignement while creating variant.

You can check screen number on right upper corner.

Hi ,

I checked that one but at that time it is showing error Selection screen contains no objects .

But in the other system where it is working fine it is defaultly checking the checkbox appearing at the right corner .

Check that OSS note 0001125865 has been applied in the system where you are experiencing the issue.
