Screen Active but error while checking layout

hello,

i have 2 queries:

1. I created a screen and activated it , there was no error in activation .But

when i am checking layout of screen it's giving error "I/O Field has no ID to immediate left".

i have already declared the field in program and it's attributes is also o.k.Can anyone explain why this mesage is coming .

2. while checking layout of screen i am getting message "Inelegancies - Layout changes possible/necessary?". what does this means .

Does SAP have some standard in screens. what "Inelegancies" means .

hi,

1. For the text field you created on the screen; you need to provide the ID, descitpion in consecutive string format... NO Spaces.

2. Inelegancies would mean something that is not 'elegent' ... I guess.

KINDLY TELL ME WHERE I HAVE TO SPECIFY THE ID EITHER ON SCREEN?
