I got one project 'Recruitment KPI reports'. I dont know anything about that. What is the requirement of this project? How i will start the project? Can anybody explain me about this project.

Key Performance Indicators are relations that shows you how a process is going, and if it is inside the expectations you have about it.
I give you an example, I have a production of CARS, maybe a thousand cars each year. I also have the energy consumption value (Year Value). The relationship NUMBER OF CARS / ENERGY CONSUMPTION is my Key Performance Indicator. So if this relation is above a hundred, we are OK with energy consumption and we do not need to invest in new machines, but if this indicator is below a hundred we are spending too much energy and this may represent some investment in new technologies.
KPIs are performance measures that are used to track performance of sales, company performance etc. Example of KPIs would be Effort Overrun for Project would be a KPI to track project effectiveness. This would translate into a formula or Key Figure in BW Terms.
For Eg: Based on ur requirements for eg. to get data related to SALES Quantities..So you would be reporting for SALES quantity..this becomes your KPI.
You have to gather and decide from User at the time of requirement gathering phase..You can model them either as normal keyfigures or formula depending on the data storage and performance..
