Hi,

You cannot save a package and its content to a request which has already been transported.

Thanks,

Parul.

Joe,

Package are created in SE21.

Once the transport request is released the objects w.r.t that request can't be tagged to a new request unless a change is made.

Hi Joe,

You can try this:

Create Transport Request, and include object as

R3TR DEVC < Your Package Name >

Hi,

In transaction SE10 create a new transport of type workbench.

Select the request and choose Request/Teask -> Include objects -> Include objects, in the pop-up choose Freely selected objects.

In the next screen enter your package.

This lists all of the objects in that package, put the cursor at the top of the structure and choose select.

This assigns all of the objects to the transport.

Nick

i tried like this ,but all are saved in main request notin in the sub request inside the main request.is there any way to save this in sub request,if not means is it cause any problem while transport the request which doesn't have the sub request.

This shouldn't be a problem (let's remember this is SAP-standard, not a work-around). Release the (empty) task first them the request, once it's released it's just like any other transport.

Hi,

The objects don't need to be in the sub-request (as you call it). When you release the sub-request it copies the list of items to the main request, so adding the objects direct to the main request works without problem.

Follow the steps in my first answers, then release the empty sub-request, then release the request. It will work.

Nick

Hi Joe,

U need to delete the sub-task and then include the objects

in the main task ... (Ctrl+F11) Then only it will be

transported ...

Srinivas.
