Save_Text for material BOM

Hi ,

I want to update long text for material bom(CS01)...using SAVE_TEXT.

But it is not updating i.e. i am unable to see the text in TCODE......but when i directly updating the text throug the transaction and using READ_TEXT the data is getting retreived.......

Can any one help me how to use the fm(Step by Step) SAVE_TEXT in this context.......all helpful answers will be rewarded.........

what SY-SUBRC u are getting after FM call ?
