Hi Experts,
I have moved a TR into quality. It has two objects,
1. Report
2. Sap Script
Both the objects are active. When moved the changes to quality, Report changes are moved but SAP Script changes are not moved.
Has someone faced similar issue. Or am I missing something while moving the transport.
Thanks,
Anil

Hi Amil,
Could it be that you have changed it in one language (e.g. english) and checked it on the quality system with another language (e.g. german)?
This is what happened to me once.
Best regards,
Benjamin

Hi Raymond,
Is the main object (R3TR FORM) in the transport request (*) ?
Yes
Is there any error/warning in transport log ?
Return codes successful for all imports/ exports in tr log. Even TR is shown in se03.
Are the form active in both systems (**) ?
In both dev and qas, form shows Active-Saved status.
Thanks,
Anil

what were the changes? any texts etc or changes to the main form as well? i.e. layout or changes in window etc

Hi karthik,
Not layout changes.
I have written a couple of performs in report to get manf date and expiry date.
Called the same values in script.

Anil,
How many clients are there in the Quality System ? It could be that there are multiple clients and the TR would not have got imported to the Client where you are checking.Transport logs will give you an idea of the Clients to which the TR has got imported.

Anil,
Quality system means it is a Server and a server can have multiple Clients ie Quality System can have clients 200,201,202 etc.Kindly check if the TR has imported to all the clients in the Quality System. My point is specific to the possibility of Quality System having multiple clients.
If Quality system has got only one client and the TR that you have imported has got all the required objects you can try reimporting the TR or saving the changes again in a fresh TR and getting it imported from D to Q.

Hi,
SAP-Script somehow is set as Workbench-Objekt, but handled like CU-objekt when it comes to transporting. you have to import it on each client. this is for script layout only.
you said, you just changed your programm. this only has to be imported on your "main" client since its a normal Workbench-objekt.
maybe you transported an old version after your new version. did you try to transport it again after you realized changes are not in QS? what happens if you try to edit your programm again? are you asked to set a transport request? are your sub-routines defined in an include that maybe is in another transport request?
did you check the versions (programm->go to -> versions) in development- and quality-server.
otherwise ask your sap-basis what went wrong with transports.

Hi,
Some sap script objects are not automatically put in transports.
Please check to see if using report RSTXTRAN can solve your issue.
Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

only script objects that are not automatically transported are SO10-Objects

Hi Anil,
How did you determine that the script changes haven't moved?
by checking the output or the script?
just covering all the bases here.
