Hi everybody,

I'm developing with Eclipse Luna and have installed SAPlink .

(Help -> Install New Software ...... http://eclipse.saplink.org)

I did the following after the installation of saplink:

Right click on the system (Project) on which I want to install the SAPlink for ADT and select SAPlink -> Install SAPlink.

So nothing happens

Who knows please, what the cause is?

What's the version of the server you're trying to install it to?

I used the link (http://eclipse.saplink.org) to install SAPLINK, so I don't know which version will be installed.

I meant your SAP version, I think Eclipse's Saplink only works on 7.4

SAP Code Exchange namespace “/CEX/” must be created via transaction SE03 (see wiki http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=153780645 )

You may need help from your BASIS team

unfortunately the SAPlink Plugin for ABAP in Eclipse is not in a state to be used out of the box right know. Perhpas and (or is it and ) can help you.

Hi Ali,

the problem with the /CEX/ namespace is, that it was only supported in the ABAP trail system. Furthermore, support for the /CEX/ namespace has been discontinued.

Therefore we started to remove the /CEX/ namespace from the backend components. Unfortunately, this work isn't finished yet. and I will have a look what needs to be done to complete the removal of the /CEX/ namespace. We'll keep you posted....

I have at the moment access to NetWeaver 7.0.

Anyway, I needed SAPLINK in the previous project and the problem was solved with copy/past.

Hi Ali,

SAPlink for ABAP in Eclipse will not work as AiE does not support NW 7.0. But I hope you get SAPlink itself running. Perhaps you have to do some adjustments due to new statements. But you can use also an older version from the SVN Repository.
