I have a small doubt on SAPGUI versions. What are the versions available and is it not the same as the r/3 version?

It is different. On the SAP LOGON pad, left top corner, click the menu.

And chose About.

Then you can see the SAP GUI version.

Hi!

SAPgui version always differ from the SAP R/3 version.

The latest is now 640.

You can dl it from here:

ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/win/640/

About SAPGUI Version.,All Above mentioned answers are correct...

Some version related information: (When u press Version Information on Top Left Corner of SAPGUI window) you will get following information.

1 . Product version.: 640 Final Release

2. File version....6405.5.20.1019

3. Patch Level: 20.

One good example: if u install Ie 7 on u r machine.. or windows Vista.. u need SAP GUI with Patch Level 20.
