SAP Web Services

Hi Friends,

I want to create a web service.

For this i create a remote enabled FM.

Then I created its Web Service.

Now I go to t-code WSADMIN, here when i test this created web service. Web page which opening id displaying 'Page cannot be found'.

Can you plz provide me details, why the page is not opening.

As you are using WSADMIN instead of SOAMANAGER I assume you are on an older version of the ABAP server and therefore not 100% sure my answer is applicable, but....

The feature to test a web service is implemented using the SAP J2EE engine. If you do not have a SAP J2EE server installed and configured then you cannot use the web service test function delivered by SAP.

I use the Altova XMLSpy tool for this purpose. You can download a 30 day trial version from their web site.

HI

yes, the server is working only on ABAP stack. No java stack is there.

Is it the essential need of JAVA stack or only by installing java on my system, I can start my work.

No you do not need the Java stack to create and execute ABAP web services.

You just need it for the SAP provided test tool.

As I said I use XMLSpy for that purpose.

I done this. XML Spy is near about 122 MB to download.

Can you suggest me any guidelines, what should i have to do after download.
