Hi,
We are moving to mySAP using Enterprise Portal
I'm aware that SAP has a SAP LDAP Connector
is the Active Directory account mapped to the SAP user using the Active Directory GUID i.e. a globally unique identifier that doesn't change when the entry is moved, renamed, etc ?
Or does the connector use RDN's, therefore a move would mean the link between the AD account and SAP user is broken if the AD account is moved... ?

Hi Nick,
I'm not quite sure what you want, do you:
- want to use the ADS as a datasource for your portal ? In this case did you have a look at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/48/d1d13f7fb44c21e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm ?
- want to use your portal with datasource ABAP and sync the users between ABAP and ADS ? In this case, did you have a look at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/a5/3fa63a2719f539e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm ?
The help explains, what can be used to link the SAP User Name to the Windows account or what the logon name is for a portal user with ADS datasource.
If your question is based on the access to the portal using SPNEGO (Kerberos), you may also want to have a look at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/44/0efeafb9920d1be10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm.

Patrick
