Hi,

In SM30, the FIND function(with binocular icon) is disabled, is it possible to enable this function even for a certain table only?

Hi

This is related to authorization issue. You should have prope authorization for every transaction and all function in SAP. Or ask your SAP administrator to provide you authorization for this transaction

You can create authorization from transaction PFCG.

Regards,

Amit.

Hi Eric. At what point within the transaction are you hoping to use the FIND function? If you wanted to use it on the first page, here's what you do to get similar functionality: click on the values button on the right side of the "Table/view" entry field. This will bring up a window to restrict the value range. Now enter your search criteria and click on the checkmark box to see the search results. If you wanted to use it while looking at the table or view, here's what you can do: first enter the name of your table or view and then click on the "Display" button. Now at the top menu choose "Selection Criteria" --> "By Contents...". Now you can choose which field(s) you would like to select by. Choose your fields by clicking the checkmark boxes and click on the green checkmark. Now you can enter values that you're looking for in the specific fields; then click on the "Confirm" button to bring up the results. I hope this helps.
