SAP standard program user exits (Inquiry)

Hi,

I'm just new in ABAP programming and I'd like to learn how to use exits. I also want to know how they behave. Currently I already know how to find a user exit for a certain transaction. Can anyone give me an article about User exits?

Hi,

Exits are the places provided by SAP where we can write custom code to enhance or modify the standard functionality.

You may search in SDN with key word 'User Exits' and you get lot of information regarding the same.

Hi,

Thank you for the links. That is quite helpful. Anyone happen to know what user exit will I use to validate the data inputed in MM01 and MM02 transactions?
