SAP Smartform Barcode email

Hi,

I am sending the barcode as attachment to the email as a PDF attachment. The barcode looks good in print preview and in SOST but when it is emailed the barcode not being sent correctly. Something like this.

Any ideas where i might be going wrong?

SOST will have the mails which has been sent from the SAP system.

So just to understand your problem, if you are seeing a mail with attachment in SOST your PDF looks ok, but when same mail from SOST goes out from SAP, Pdf has been changed?

Hey,

Barcodes are a nightmare. I still wake up in the middle of the night with flashbacks :).

Are your fonts all in the "new" format? Do you have the right DLL installed to handle it? Are you experiencing it with all types of Barcodes?

I second what Mohammad is saying, if you can print it to PDF then it makes no sense for it to get corrupted when sent via email...thus, I assumed it's not the case and asked the questions/recommandations.

Check if your printer settings are done correctly which are compatable to handle barcodes ?
