What is the correct way for access to report? Support services ? or SARF?

Someone gave me report, but the system says I'm not authorized to use it. Is there a way I need get authorization?

Any idea please let me know.

You need to get authorization from the person responsible for setting up users and roles and assigning roles to users.

After running the report try to run SU51 and check which authorization was checked and whats the value. The Basis team will be able to give you the required authorization.

Srinivas,

Sometimes if u r work is not related to reports then the authorisation group mostly basis people will not give the authorisation to other part of programming like u know if u implementation side u will not get authorisations to development side like that.

Its better to ask the basis guys r anyone of these user authorisation setting guys then they may help u
