Could you please suggest me how to make selection screen validation on ABAP Query using SQ01 and SQ02?????

I need a requirement to validate on the field(selection screen) name invoice status,report should be display the status between 5-11 and AP.So please tell me how to write and from where to start.????

in the infotype SQ02, menu >go to> code...there are option s to write code for different events like... at selection screen.. etc...
