Hi Folks,
1.How to apply a note through SNOTE?
2.How to apply a note manually?

ello,
I think the previous 2 answers have answered your question. Just one more thing you need to be aware. If you select to use the manual changes, please implement the note using SNOTE before and confirm that you have implemented the note.
This is because when a note is implemented in the SNOTE, the SNOTE administrative tables are changed and this note is marked implemented. If some other notes have this note as a prerequisit and this note is implemented manually without notifying SNOTE, you won't be able to implement those notes.
I hope this helps and let me know if you have other questions.

SNOTE:
start SNOTE, download the note you want to apply (ctrl + F8) and select it and implement (ctrl F1).
Manually:
you have to read the note and make changes manually to the objects as described in the text(require access key)
It's prefered to use SNOTE to implement notes automatically
(because you can then deimplement then automatically too, SNOTE checks if the note is relevant for your system and when implementing a Support Package, the SPAU can tell you if you have to reimplement the note)

1) SNOTE is a SAP transaction that can be used to implement OSS notes. This however will only implement code changes. Any config changes need to be done manually.
Using SNOTE:
- Download the note
- Set the process status to "In Process"
- Read the note instructions
- Implement the note
- View implementation log
- Set the status to "Complete"

2) Applying note Manually
Read the note and edit the objects indicated in the note by changing the code as indicated in the correction instructions.
