sap note..

Hi I have implimented one sap note. the note implimentation was ok and the changes also reflects in the program but the problem is the the program is shown as inactive. I also cant activate it manually as it is asking for sap key.

Can any one tell me the reason ar have any solution.

Hi,

If you have an OSS id, log on to service.sap.com, and go to the menu Keys & Requests----->SSCR Keys. From here you need to choose in the type of service corner and also provide in the whether this is done in development or any other system. The SAP system will then provide in the access key, which will help you activate the pgm.

Hi

Check by reverting the oss note whther the report is deactivated because of note or previously it was inactive

also check whether the note is implemented properly and request has been assigned to it

Hello,

Can you please check whether you have write access in the system ot not?

Try to create a new program in se38 or try to open any existing program in the change mode.If it not allows then you do not have the write access. CHeck with your BASIS people.

Hi ,

Try to activae it in display mode.

If not you need to take access key because its

standard program changes .You have applied all these program

changes through SAP NOTE . It should be activated through note itslef.

Sometimes some syntax errors occur while we apply SAP NOTES .

For that you need to take access key and eliminate errors and active

Hi

Use the T-code SNOTE and import the OSS note by giving the number and then you implement the note. when you implement it will ask you to assign a Transport request assign it.

this is the correct process to implement the note. othewise you have to have access key for the program.

Thanks for your valuble inputs.

I have all the authorizations . I check the log of note i found that some how i have uploaded the note once more after implimenting it, this may be the reason that program is inactive.

Any suggestion to correct it?

Hi,

if you used SNOTE for the implementation, then create a message to SAP? and ask them. Give priority HIGH becazse your system may be in danger.

It's their responsibility to deliver correct notes. Technically, SNOTE will not apply the same note twice.

problem might have been caused by reloading of sap note after imlimenting once.

One needs to take key from sap and activate the program manually.
