Solved: SAP LANDSCAPE

i read that DEV,QAS,PROD are 3 Servers in SAPLANDSCAPE .

DEV has clients like 100(development),200(unit test).

QAS has also clients 180 etc.

PROD has client : 200 .

As an ABAP developer i will login to the development server and login with 100 client and write the code . and do unit testing .

now i will transport developed object to the QAS server and they will test test regressively. ?

hello,

in dev server one client is for development , one is for unit testing, one is sandbox, one is golden client.

in qas server one is integration test and another is high volume test environment.

in production server only one client is present.

mainly transport part depends on basis team....in some company abap er is responsible for that.

Hi,

It depends. In your case if not you, senior technical consultant will test the program regressively in the quality server.

It all depends on your enterprise structure/project management to decide who and how will they test the development.

You could have asked this question to someone within your project for a proper answer
