SAP GUI for Java as an Applet

Hello!

I stumbled over a problem said to occur in the applet version of the SAP GUI for Java. Does someone know where this applet version of SAP GUI for Java is used?

Searching help.sap.com suggest a usage in a SAP Application iView within the portal. Is this correct? Are there other known usages?

Hello Anton,

SAP GUI for Java comes with a sample html file how to run it as an applet independent of SAP Portal. Please also refer to chapter 8. Web Server Configuration of the manual.

Already tried it out and it looks good.

Unfortunately the JavaScripting Reference is missing in the documentation.
