SAP Connect issue

I am using SAP connect to send email remittance advice to vendors. When I am testing, I am able to send email from SAP to my company email address. But if I put an outside email address on the vendor master, the email fails. I assume a setting in SAP Connect may preventing to send email to outside addresses. I am not an expert on SAP connect, please advice in this matter.

Please touchbase with your BASIS consultant or divert the query to a BASIS forum to ask the setting for SCOT
